    Products Description

Need to safely convey flammable powders or materials containing ethanol without explosion risk?

Guanjiang's Explosion-Proof Vacuum Conveyor uses nitrogen as both the power source and protective gas — completely eliminating oxygen from the conveying loop. With no electrical energy or mechanical energy required, the system generates no heat during operation. Available with PLC control (Exd IIB T4Gb) or full-pneumatic control, it complies with GMP standards and meets CIP requirements. Ideal for pharmaceutical, chemical, and battery material applications where explosion safety is critical.

    Key Advantages

    Nitrogen Protection System

Uses nitrogen as both power source and protective gas — eliminates oxygen from the conveying loop. Prevents ignition of flammable materials like ethanol-based powders.

    No Electrical Energy Required

Zero electrical or mechanical energy — entire system operates solely on compressed air/nitrogen. No heat generation during operation, eliminating ignition sources.

    ATEX / Exd IIB T4Gb

PLC control with Exd IIB T4Gb explosion-proof rating — suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. Full-pneumatic control option available.

    GMP & CIP Ready

Complies with GMP standards and meets CIP (Clean-in-Place) requirements. Quick and convenient cleaning for batch changeovers.

    Compact & Lightweight

Small footprint, light weight — simple and quick installation. One machine can serve multiple sets of equipment alternately.

    No Vibration & Low Noise

Smooth operation with no vibration and low noise levels — ideal for cleanroom and laboratory environments.

    No Warm-Up / Standby

Ready for immediate operation — no warm-up or standby time needed. Low maintenance costs.

    Explosion-Proof Conveying FAQs

Q1: Why is nitrogen required for conveying ethanol-based or flammable materials?

A: Ethanol has a low ignition point — even a small spark or heat can cause an explosion. By using nitrogen as both the power source and protective gas, oxygen is completely eliminated from the conveying loop. Without oxygen, combustion cannot occur, ensuring safe handling of flammable materials.

Q2: What is the difference between PLC control and full-pneumatic control?

A: PLC control (Exd IIB T4Gb) uses an explosion-proof electrical cabinet and rated components — suitable for Zone 1/2 hazardous areas. Full-pneumatic control uses no electrical components at all — all valves and logic are air-operated. This is the safest option for extreme environments where any electrical presence is prohibited.

Q3: How is the system cleaned between different products?

A: The system complies with GMP standards and CIP requirements. The modular design allows quick disassembly. Surfaces are smooth and polished for easy wiping. For automated cleaning, a CIP (Clean-in-Place) system can be integrated — simply connect cleaning solution to the inlet and run the cleaning cycle.

Q4: Can the same machine be used on multiple pieces of equipment?

A: Yes. The vacuum conveyor is portable and lightweight. One machine can serve multiple sets of equipment alternately — move it from one reactor, mixer, or packaging line to another as needed. No warm-up or standby time is required.

Q5: What materials can be conveyed with this system?

A: This system is designed for flammable, explosive, or oxygen-sensitive materials, including: ethanol-based pharmaceutical powders, solvent-wet materials, lithium battery powders, fine chemical intermediates, and combustible dusts (St1, St2). Always provide your material's safety data sheet (SDS) for proper system validation.
